German Chocolate Cake
	
	1 PACKAGE BAKERS GERMAN SWEET CHOCOLATE
	1/2 CUP BOILING WATER
	1 CUP MARGARINE OR BUTTER
	2 UNBEATEN YOLKS OF EGGS
	1/2 TSP SALT
	1-1/2 CUPS SIFTED CAKE FLOUR
	2 STIFFLY BEATEN WHITE EGGS
	2 CUPS SUGAR
	1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
	1 TSP BAKING SODA
	1 CUP BUTTERMILK
	
	
	Melt chocolate in boiling water.  Cool.  Cream butter and sugar 
	until fluffy. Add egg yolks, one at a time, and beat well after each.  
	Add melted chocolate and vanilla.  Mix well.  Sift together salt, 
	soda, and flour. Add alternately with buttermilk to chocolate mixture, 
	beating well. Beat until smooth. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into 
	three  8" or 9" cake layer pans, lined on bottoms with wax paper. 
	Bake in moderate oven 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool.

	Combine:
	
	1 CUP EVAPORATED MILK
	1 CUP SUGAR
	1 EGG YOLKS
	1/4 POUND OLEO
	1 TSP VANILLA.
	
	Cook over medium heat about 12 minutes.
